2025 Lineup

VW Jetta and Jetta GLI

The Volkswagen Jetta is a quintessential compact car and one of the automaker's oldest nameplates. That longevity is a testament to the Jetta's impressive well-roundedness and value. It offers a comfortable and spacious cabin, nicely cushioned and supportive seats, and many desirable amenities. It's also satisfying to drive thanks to its balanced handling dynamics, smooth ride, and peppy yet efficient 1.5-liter turbo-four engine (158 horsepower/184 pound-feet of torque).

If you're seeking something even more engaging for your Bedford trails, check out the Jetta GLI. This sport-tuned variant features a potent 2.0-liter turbo-four engine (228 horsepower/258 pound-feet of torque), adaptive dampers, and an available limited-slip differential. A quick-shifting seven-speed DSG (dual-clutch automatic transmission) handles the gear changes. Or, if you prefer a more hands-on experience, you can select the six-speed manual.

The VW Jetta and Jetta GLI enter the 2025 model year with a midcycle refresh, including updated styling, more interior refinement, new wheel designs, and a newly standard 8-inch touchscreen. They also make a few features more accessible at lower trim levels, including wireless smartphone integration and a wireless charging pad.

VW Golf GTI

Volkswagen's current longest-running nameplate is a sporty compact car available in two flavors. The Golf GTI is a quintessential hot hatchback, using a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine to make 241 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. Power runs to the front wheels through VW's renowned 7-speed DSG transmission (dual-clutch automatic). However, a six-speed manual remains available through the 2024 model year for enthusiasts who like a more hands-on experience. The Golf GTI includes several handling enhancements, including sport-tuned suspension and a limited-slip differential. Additionally, all 2024 Golf GTI models with a manual transmission include the GTI 380 package, which adds equipment from the Autobahn trim, like summer performance tires, adaptive dampers, and black exterior accents.

The Golf GTI comes standard with desirable amenities like heated front seats, power-folding mirrors, a fully digital instrument panel, and VW IQ.DRIVE safety technologies. Available upgrades include leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, driver memory settings, and more. The VW Golf's hatchback form factor gives it impressive practicality, offering 20 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row and 34.5 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.

The Volkswagen Golf GTI and Golf R will both get midcycle refreshes heading into the 2025 model year, including sportier styling, more refined accommodations, and upgraded technology, including a standard 12.9-inch touchscreen.

VW Golf R

At the top of Volkswagen's hot-hatch roster is the extra-spicey VW Golf R, which turns up the thrills with a high-output 2.0-liter turbo-four, making 315 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Heading into 2025, the Golf R drops its manual transmission option. However, the automaker makes up for it by increasing output to 328 horsepower. The VW Golf R boasts super sharp handling, surefooted traction, and a comfortable ride thanks to attributes like 4MOTION® all-wheel drive with rear torque vectoring, sport-tuned adaptive suspension, and performance tires.

The VW Golf R is offered in a single fully loaded trim level with standard amenities like three-zone automatic climate control, heated/ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and leather upholstery. It also includes advanced technologies like the VW Digital Cockpit Pro instrument cluster, a head-up display, Harman Kardon audio, IQ.DRIVE driver aids, and more.

VW ID.4

As the first model to leverage the innovative MEB platform, the ID.4 launched Volkswagen's initiative to make EV ownership more appealing and accessible to a wider audience. It's stylish and spacious, with a clean, modern design, quality materials, and nicely cushioned and supportive seats. There's ample head and legroom for all passengers, with 30.4 cubic feet to spare for cargo behind the second row. Capacity expands to 64.2 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.

Standard VW ID.4 amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, heated seats, a digital instrument panel, a 12.9-inch touchscreen, and a full suite of IQ.DRIVE assistive technologies. Depending on the trim level, you can enjoy upgrades like a hands-free liftgate, a panoramic glass roof, a 360-degree camera system, and ventilated front seats with memory and massage.

The rear-wheel-drive ID.4 produces 282 horsepower/402 pound-feet of torque, while all-wheel-drive models generate 335 horsepower/501 pound-feet of torque. A 77-kWh battery provides an EPA-estimated 291 (RWD) or 263 (AWD) miles of range. However, if power and range aren't high priorities, the value-oriented ID.4 Standard (RWD; 201 hp/229 lb-ft) utilizes a smaller 58-kWh battery (~209 miles) in exchange for a lower price tag while remaining generously equipped.

VW ID.7

With the ID.4 enjoying widespread acclaim in its initial years, Volkswagen is looking to extend that successful EV formula into new territory with the VW ID.7. Rolling into dealerships later in 2024, this fully electric midsize car boasts a roomy and refined cabin, excellent amenities, and sophisticated style. It's satisfying to drive and impressively practical.

The 2025 ID.7 will initially launch with a single powertrain option: a rear-wheel-driving motor producing 282 horsepower and 402 pound-feet of torque. A dual-motor all-wheel-drive version will become available later in the cycle, increasing output to 335 horsepower. While Volkswagen has yet to provide specific mileage information, we expect the maximum available range of this aerodynamic liftback to exceed 300 miles.

The ID.7 offers upscale interior accommodations, ergonomic seats, and ample room for passengers in both rows. Plus, thanks to its hatchback form factor, it offers surprising practicality, with 18.8 cubic feet of cargo capacity behind the second row and up to 56 cubic feet behind the first. Standard feature highlights include proximity access, heated seats, driver memory, and a 15-inch touchscreen with advanced voice recognition.

VW ID. Buzz

The iconic VW Microbus is back, delivering a familiar retro vibe reimagined in a fully electric package. The VW ID. Buzz's exterior styling is both fun and functional. The sleek curves and minimal overhangs give it a recognizable aesthetic while helping to maximize efficiency. The all-new 2025 ID. Buzz will launch in the US in late 2024 as a rear-wheel-drive model with 282 horsepower or an AWD version with 330 horsepower. Volkswagen estimates that the 86-kWh battery will provide more than 230 miles of range.

The VW ID. Buzz's interior is exceptionally spacious and pleasantly accommodating. It offers generous room for passengers, expansive cargo options, and myriad comfort and convenience enhancements. Notable standard amenities include a 12.9-inch touchscreen, a 10-inch digital instrument panel, customizable ambient lighting, and massaging front seats. Plus, all ID. Buzz models include a comprehensive suite of IQ.DRIVE driver aids, including collision mitigation, Blind-Spot Monitor, Lane Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

VW Taos

Volkswagen SUVs are popular for their excellent practicality, capable performance, appealing features, and bold yet refined style. The VW Taos delivers everything drivers love about a Volkswagen crossover in a smaller, more nimble package. While its size places it among subcompact crossovers, the Taos is one of the segment's larger models. It offers attractive accommodations with good passenger space, cozy seats, and modern design details. It also provides ample practicality, with 27.9 - 65.9 cubic feet of cargo capacity and standard roof rails.

The VW Taos is propelled by a perky yet efficient 1.5-liter turbo-four engine, producing 158 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. It's also nicely equipped across its streamlined three-trim lineup. Standard features include alloy wheels, an 8-inch VW Digital Cockpit gauge cluster, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. The Taos also comes standard with IQ.DRIVE assistive technologies, including Front Assist (forward collision mitigation), Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist, and Active Blind Spot Monitoring.

While we don't have the details yet, Volkswagen has announced a major refresh for the 2025 VW Taos. A reveal is planned for late Q3 of 2024.

VW Tiguan

The VW Tiguan is a unique crossover. While technically a "compact" model, it's on the larger end of the segment, allowing it to provide ample passenger space and cargo versatility while retaining a convenient physical footprint. The VW Tiguan is also among the few SUVs its size that offers an available third row. That makes it an excellent choice for Bedford families who need additional seatbelts but still want something city-friendly.

A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine propels the VW Tiguan with 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel-drive models have three-row seating for seven passengers, with 12 cubic feet behind the third row, 33 cubic feet behind the second, and 65.3 behind the first. All-wheel-drive models trade the third row for a roomier back seat and more cargo capacity (37.6 - 73.4 cubic feet). The VW Tiguan is nicely equipped across its four trim levels, including standard amenities like heated front seats, rain-sensing wipers, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, and IQ.DRIVE assistive technologies.

The VW Tiguan is all-new for the 2025 model year. While VW has yet to release many specifics of the US-market models, we know that the 2025 Tiguan will enter its third generation with a bold new look, more refined accommodations, and updated technology. It also gets upgraded powertrain options, including a new plug-in hybrid version that Volkswagen claims will provide an estimated 62 miles of electric-only range.

VW Atlas Cross Sport

The VW Atlas Cross Sport is a midsize crossover with a capacious cabin, assertive styling, and plentiful practicality. While three-row accommodations are common at this size, the Atlas Cross Sport forgoes the additional seatbelts in favor of generous passenger accommodations, including more than 40 inches of rear legroom. It also provides impressive storage, with 40.3 cubic feet behind the second row and up to 77.8 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.

The Atlas Cross Sport and its larger Atlas sibling recently received a significant midcycle refresh, including styling tweaks, more standard features, and upgraded performance. A new high-output 2.0-liter turbo-four (269 horsepower, 273 pound-feet of torque) is standard across the Atlas Cross Sport lineup, boasting better torque and efficiency over the previous six-cylinder option. Front-wheel drive is standard for SE and SE w/ Technology trim levels, while Volkswagen's 4MOTION® AWD system is available for those trims and standard in higher tiers.

The refreshed Atlas Cross Sport received an appreciably expanded standard features list, including many premium amenities often reserved for higher tiers. Now, even the base-model SE includes heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, V-Tex® leatherette upholstery, proximity entry, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Atlas Cross Sport also comes standard with technologies like a 12-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, IQ.DRIVE assistive technologies, wireless device charging, and the VW Digital Cockpit Pro (10.25-inch digital instrument panel.

The 2025 Atlas Cross Sport and Atlas see a few minor updates, including upgraded 15W wireless charging and standard Light Assist. The top-tier SEL Premium R-Line gets new perforated headrest upholstery, four-way lumbar adjustment, and front-seat massage.

VW Atlas

Do you appreciate the Atlas Cross Sport's performance, features, and style but need more space and seatbelts for your larger Beachwood family? The VW Atlas has just what you're looking for. It has the same powertrain, similar design details, and similar configuration options. However, it leverages larger dimensions to provide more spacious accommodations for passengers and cargo. The VW Atlas offers ample head and leg room for riders in all three rows, with 20.6 cubic feet to spare for cargo. Folding the third row expands the cargo area to 55.5 cubic feet, and when you need to maximize storage for an outing or errand, you can fold all rear seats to access a cavernous 96.8 cubic feet.

The VW Atlas's recent refresh mirrors the updates in the Atlas Cross Sport, including an upgraded turbo-four powertrain and premium standard features. However, the VW Atlas also offers an exclusive new Peak Edition. Available for SE w/ Technology and SEL trim levels, this package adds unique design details to accentuate the Atlas's rugged character. It also includes a panoramic sunroof and 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires.
